Human Resource experts feel that though the economic crisis is giving tough times to Indian markets but job seekers still have some optimism left.
According to Boston Consulting Group (a well-known advisory firm), it is believed that about 85-90 million job opportunities are to emerge in various sectors, with major share coming from IT, outsourcing, retail, healthcare and banking.
Also, a survey by an HR consultancy anticipates the recruitment to show a slow increase, may be by 18% from the present quarter itself. The distribution, though will not be uniform across all sectors.
Manpower India’s Cherian Kuruvila says that GDP of 7% reflects that the country has saved itself from what was experienced in other developed nations.
A study carried out by Gallup international (a global human resource consulting firm) and TNS (market research and business analysis firm), across Asia-Pacific region showed that 62 percent of the Indians feel they would be able to clutch their jobs in 2009.
