Kingfisher Airlines’ Chairman, Vijay Mallya informed that the alliance with Jet Airways is slated to get completely operational in six months from now.
He informed that though the efforts were in full swing since the signing of agreement in last October, but the task was not as simple as it was thought to be. He also said that changing the routes of flights by either of the Airlines had to be much more organized; it could not be carried out by just making a phone call to cancel it.
The implementation of plans requires moving in smooth way, as Mallya’s Airbus based flyers will have to be coordinated with that of Jet’s Boeing based one.
Once the things fall in place, the Alliance is expected to rule over a dominant share of 58%.
The collaboration was initiated by the two major Airline Industry players to reduce the costs, offer better services and broad range of options to clients.
