Owing to the indications of a rise in International Oil prices, the state-run oil companies on Thursday hiked the Aviation Turbine Fuel price by 3.4 percent. The price rise has come after eight successive price cuts.
The latest price cut of 6.8 percent from state-run oil firms was initiated on December 31. The ATF price in Delhi will be increased by Rs 1039.1 to Rs 31496.31 on per Kilolitre from today. In Mumbai a rise of Rs 1068.87 to 32,447.65 per Kl will be seen in the ATF prices from Thursday night.
The ATF prices hovered around Rs 71,028.26 per Kl in August 2008. With the drop in the global oil prices, subsequent fuel rate cuts have been initiated by the companies time to time.
