Anurag Bhullar

Speculations are rife that the ex-Vice Chairman of Wipro, Vivek Paul might be appointed the CEO of Satyam. Vivek has also served as the President and CEO of Wipro.

He joined the company in 1999 and expanded it by leaps and bounds from $150million firm to a multi-billion dollar group. His name has featured among the most respected and efficient CEOs. However, he had to quit the company owing to differences in opinion with Azim Premji.

Then Paul entered TPG (Texas pacific Group) in 2005; which he has recently left in last week of December. This information came from a close acquaintance, who revealed it on condition of anonymity. Paul has been associated with a number of well-known names of corporate world, like Bain & Co, Pepsico, General Electric. As the man has several successful stints at various reputes business houses, he is being touted as the experienced hand, which is the need of the hour at Satyam.
