NTPC executives have delayed their plans of joining OSOA (Oil Sector Officers Association) members owing to failure of establishing contact with the striking and hiding officers.
Rakesh Pandey, President of the NTPC Federation of India said that they completely support the ongoing OSOA protests and would be a part of agitation, commenced to bring to light the unjust policies of the government. However, due to not being successful in holding talks with the concerned officers, the plans stand deferred.
When asked, what would be their step in case OSOA ends the strike, Rakesh said that then they would go with the decision of initiating an indefinite strike, from Feb 25.
The federation started displaying their angst via staging dharna at all NTPC establishments. However, the staff at NTPC control rooms did not join the act.
In attempt to clear the air, NTPC CMD RS Sharma ruled out any such happenings.
