The State-run oil major Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has offered the mid January lot of 30,000 tonnes of loading gas oil, while the strikes of officials continued at other Indian State-run oil firms.
The tender offer is already been issued, and is expected to be finalized today but if the strikes continues, it will definitely effect the supply of products. Union leaders of the other two major State-run oil firms, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), went on strike over the demands of higher wages on Wednesday. HPCL officials did not take part in the strike.
HPCL has also issued another tender for buying 65,000 tonnes for gas oil supply of 300 and 450 ppm grade for March 1-5 to be delivered to Mundra on Cost and Freight basis.
