The Indian Inc.’s are feeling the heat of the global economic recession. After a cut in salary hike rates by TCS and Wipro, Infosys Technologies also making up its mind to put back or slash its salary hikes rates to single digits for the next financial year.
The demand for the services of India’s second largest software company (Infy), has dropped significantly in US and Europe and with a view to cope up with the situation, the company is looking over lowering the salary hikes to 7-8 percent for its employees in the next year.
Wipro has already reduced its salary hikes to 7-8 percent for the second quarter this fiscal year for its offshore employees and on the other hand, TCS, has stated that a single digit salary hikes will be given.
