No further specifications are provided by the company with respect to salary cut but insisted that the effected employees would remain on existing pay-roll of the company. They would be eligible to all possible benefits like medical and travel allowances that are currently availed by the other employees of Kingfisher Airlines.
The company officials also mentioned that Line pilots and flight commanders are presently exempted from this move of salary cut. Earlier this Week in the Board meeting of the Airline, Vijay Mallya gave a clear indication that he had no surplus staff and therefore there is no question of any retrenchment measures. |
