So let us find out what exciting features one can look for apart from normal ones while buying a watch- Alarm- This is one of the basic feature that can be found mostly in sports watches. So if you have the habit of reaching late to places it would be great feature to consider while purchasing your wrist watch. Annual Calendar- Annual Calendar is another cool feature found in high class watches. It can be in the form of sub-dials, each different for day, date and year or in the form of digital calendar. Chronograph- These watches have both timekeeping and stopwatch functions. There are basically three kinds of chronographs generally available in the marketplace. First is, Analog Chronographs which shows time and stopwatch with analog hands. Apart from analog hands of a watch there are some small sub-dials for stopwatch, seconds, etc. Second is Digital Chronographs in which digital display is used to show time and stopwatch functions. There may be single display mode for both or may be different switching displays for each of them. And thirdly, there are Analog-Digital Chronographs which have both basic analog hands and digital display together for different functions. Display Back- Display back watches are those in which you can actually watch the mechanical functions of the watch from the back side. The back side of these watches is made up of transparent glass or plastic which allows you to see through it. Dual Time Zone- These kinds of watches allows users to set two different time zones in a single watch. These kinds of watches are very beneficial for those who travel a lot. Apart from main analog hands there is another sub-dial which can be used to set time zones of other places. Power Reserve- This is another great features available in high class watches in which a separate sub-dial is given to indicate the hours of power reserve. This specifies for how much time the watch is going to continue running. Tachymetre or Tachometer- This feature in watches is generally used to calculate speed after knowing that distance traveled and how much time elapsed to cover that distance. Tachymetre provided in outer dial of watches make it possible to compute with ease. Pulsometer- Watches equipped with a pulsometer enables the wearer to find out the pulse rate. One can easily compute the number of heartbeats per minute.

Watches are considered as aesthetics for men when worn on different occasions and dress codes. There are a number of designs and types of watches available in the market for different uses. One can easily choose from sports category, Bracelet and strap watches, designer watches, and from numerous shapes and sizes. Secondly, the size of the watch must not be too big and not too small. It should be according to your wrist size. And lastly, the colour of the watch face and the band must not be too bold. It would be good to have the color that can easily match up with the dress code.
